On June 6, 2023, Prof. RNDr. Pavol Miškovský, DrSc., Chairman of the CNIC Board, visited the prestigious Joint Research Center (JRC) in Brussels. The purpose of the visit was to present the current state of the CNIC project. The groups at JRC, led by Alessandro Fazio, participated in the presentation and subsequent discussions.

The presentation, as well as the following meeting, were very well received, as evidenced by the overall duration of the meeting (3 hours), and the outcome of the discussions is a plan for further activities supported by JRC. Additionally, Prof. Miškovský was offered a meeting and negotiations in the Innovation District of Milan, which shares a similar structure and goals as CNIC. This meeting is expected to include a meeting with selected representatives of the European Commission.

“This trip, and particularly the presentation itself, was a great success for us and confirmed the value and relevance of our project. Collaboration with JRC and the opportunity to present our work to leading experts in this field open new doors for further development and innovation. We are full of expectations and look forward to upcoming meetings and collaboration with significant partners in Milan and the European Commission,” evaluated Pavol Miškovský.
