CNIC awarded the Bronze “Cluster Management Excellence” Medal

The Cassovia New Industry Cluster (CNIC) has been awarded the Bronze “Cluster Management Excellence” Medal by the European Secretariat for Cluster Analysis (ESCA) as part of the ECEI Cluster Management Benchmarking. Meeting the demanding criteria for achieving the Cluster Management Excellence Label – Bronze, the assessment considered the sophistication of the organizational structure, the scope of collaborations, the number of active members, and the sectoral focus.

An ESCA expert for Slovakia, RNDr. Vladimír Borza, evaluated CNIC’s potential for further growth. Based in Berlin, ESCA brings together approximately 200 experts from over 30 countries and awarded the Cassovia New Industry Cluster with the “Cluster Management Excellence Label BRONZE – Striving for Cluster Excellence“.

“The recognition of our cluster by an organization as significant as ESCA is a great source of satisfaction for the CNIC team, but it is also a commitment to further development of innovative activities as well as overall development,” stated Ing. Mária Ház, financial and project manager of CNIC.

ESCA (2010) is a successor organization to the 2009 European Cluster Excellence Initiative (ECEI), a pan-European initiative of the European Commission aimed at increasing the number of world-class clusters throughout the EU by strengthening cluster management excellence.
